The NBS Archives are open to the public at the following times:
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
9 a.m. to 12 noon /
12:45 p.m. to 3 p.m.
In July, August and September the Archives are closed to the public.
The Archives will be closed on 18 and 25 February 2025.
Collection of Exchange Rate Tables
The Collection of Exchange Rate Tables was established in 1999. It contains exchange rates from the following financial institutions:
- Rakúsko-uhorská banka (1916 – 2 May 1919);
- Československá devízová ústredňa (22 June 1919 – 31 December 1919);
- Prague Stock Exchange (1920 – 1940, January – April 1945);
- Národná banka Česko-Slovenská, Bratislava branch (22 March 1939);

Slovenská národná banka (2 May 1939 – 16 October 1940, 2 August 1945 – 31 October 1945);

Bratislava Stock Exchange (15 October 1940 – 23 March 1945);

Národná banka Československá, Regional Institute for Slovakia in Bratislava (1 November 1945 – 30 June 1950);

Národná banka Československá, Prague (January – October 1947);

Economic Department of Československá tlačová kancelária (Czechoslovak Press Agency) (October 1946 – December 1947);
